The Experimental Physics and Industrial Control System (EPICS) is a globally adopted open-source software framework, comprising tools, libraries, and applications developed through international collaboration. EPICS is crucial in creating distributed, soft real-time control systems for advanced scientific instruments, including particle accelerators, telescopes, experiment beamlines, and other large-scale scientific projects.

The EPICS India Collaboration Meeting marks the first pan-India gathering dedicated to EPICS and its related technologies. This event provides an exceptional platform for developers and users across the country to connect, share their work, and discuss future directions. Attendees will gain valuable insights into projects underway at various laboratories, deepening their understanding of the EPICS ecosystem.

This meeting also serves as a forum to foster scientific exchange in the area of EPICS within India, advance the research and development of software control systems, and facilitate networking and mentorship opportunities for scientific endeavors in the country.

Whether you're an experienced professional or a newcomer, the EPICS India Collaboration Meeting offers a unique opportunity to explore the world of EPICS and its impact on scientific control systems.

The EPICS India Collaboration Meeting is an in-person event which will be held at Tata Institute of Fundamental Research, Hyderabad, on 28th & 29th of November, 2024.
